Esmah Oonf is a social media campaign created to be published on Huna Libya’s social media pages during the 16 day of activism international campaign. Huna Libya is an RNW platform that offers an independent outlet for youth issues in Libya. 

The campaign was created to raise awareness of GBV and human rights in parallel with the “Color The World Orange” international campaign and collaboration with UNFPA Libya. 

The campaign used different mediums to create an ongoing conversation on Huna Libya’s page, using illustrations, graphic design, photography, animation, and videography, to support all the messages of the copy.   


Despite having a very controversial topic, the campaign did generate a lot of positive impact, because we mainly steered away from creating conflict into finding a common ground that most of the audience could relate to, using illustration and photography for storytelling was a great aid in that.
